K Frame Date Code - Decode

I'll check again against my files tonight back at the house - I also have a 68 Road Runner. Best I think is 53rd day of 1968, the "1" is for the shift. Makes it around February 22, 1968

Hey Greg, if you want that speedo repaired, take it to Commercial Speedometer in west sac. I had one rebuilt by them and it was well worth it. Travis

Looking for Cam type/size opinions and help

You need a mountain of torque to get that car moving and a 318 just won't cut it. Not in the fashion you're wanting to do. Those 4 bangers have you beat in the weight to power department. ruffcut

K Frame Date Code - Decode

Can someone decode this date code. The K frame is in a 1968 Road Runner. It's stamped upside down so I flipped one of the photos to make it easier to read. It appears to be 53 081

    1969 Superbee 383 ?

I bought this 383 from a guy who said it’s from a 69 Superbee, which was parked on his property. Just a rusty roller, no title, don’t know if it is matching. Based on the numbers and Vin from the block what can you tell me about it. Pistons are 2863114’s. Crank looks recently balanced, is it...

The style you have pictured, I have sheared off at the base extremely easily before while installing. Also that style can block flow if too close to the bottom of the pan. Here is a factory style that will work with several pans including a 971. Oil Pickup Tube 3/8 - Curved - 4 -1/2 Depth

    69’ B-body Baer brakes w/ 72’ vs. 73’ spindles

I’m in the process of building a 69’ Coronet R/T and I’m trying to make a decision about the brakes. I’m decided on the Baer 13” front brake kit to go behind 17” wheels. What I’m looking for help with is the spindles. The car currently had front drums and I’ll be change out the spindles for...

    WTB 1971 Satellite 4 door

I was going to turn this into a parts car. Unless you were doing a full strip down, it's probably best as a parts car. Neighbor kids broke the windows out, but I have spares. Maybe find a car and let me know what you need. I bought this 18 years ago for a parts car for my 71. Haven't...
