For some reason you do not have a keyed 12 volt power supply feeding the turn signals. The black at the flasher has to be hot. Simple test run a jumper from the battery or a good 12 volt source to the black wire at the flasher and see if it works. Does the radio and back up lights work?
The harness should lay into the dash frame saddle clips and hang off to the right side when setting the dash frame in place. Then there are clips 1 on the heater box and another on the pedal support bracket. It should pretty much lay in place once you get the bulkhead seated into the fire wall.
You most likely have a C-Body turn signal switch. The 3 wire connector is for cornering lights. If everything else works just tape them or tie them out of the way.
The wire in the switch comes out in two colors to the rear. Right and Left. Read the rest. He has no power on the pink feeding the switch. He is confused already so do not confuse him more.
The newer trucks seem to hold the memory. I know the earlier ones when they went to OBD2 would lose everything. Most likely the trucks from the mid 2,000's had some sort of memory hold build into the computers. I know my 2015 Power Wagon was fine after I replaced the battery.
Chances are with a dead battery you may of lost all memory. No big deal. You may lose the presets on the radio. It will do a full relearn in 10 to 15 minutes of running. Days of running is BS.
