Bearing race spins in hub ??

Use Loctite bearing retainer. If there is significant side to side play, you may need to shim it first.

    440 valve failure

I don't want to bash the OP but from what little I see so far, That engine looks messed up. Rusty looking coolant, shiny and oily cylinder walls with no cross hatch visible, combustion chambers that look carboned up and of course the damage that occurred. That engine looked to be ready for a...

    Frying noise from steering wheel?

You do not want dielectric grease on the horn roller. DG is an insulator & the horn may not work.

    Frying noise from steering wheel?

My new switch is from OER, check carefully when you insert the pins again as the greens seems to have switch place. Yes, comparing new and old wiring I know, but better follow to the source to be sure.

    Frying noise from steering wheel?

Got the parts. Hate throwing parts at a problem but ok, the signal switch is the only electrical thingy left of the old wiring. It is surprisingly comfortable working on your car sitting nicely in the drivers seat with some Ozzy on the garage stereo.

    Mecum Indy 24 pictures

I was watching a B5 70 coronet convetible at Dallas. I was supposed to go but just bought a 70 coronet convertible, so I cancelled. It was bid to 200k and not sold. What was the result of the one at Indy. FYI I didn't spend any where close to $200k on mine.

    Would a 71 B Body out handle a 2018 BMW M3?

Would take moving the battery to the trunk, an aluminum radiator, maybe a mini starter. My 71 Coronet is 54/46 bone stock. The 71 up cars are neither as heavy nor as nose heavy as people seem to think. This is my Coronet on my corner scales when I first got it. It's lighter now. With some...

Bearing race spins in hub ??

I'm hoping someone can help that may have ran across this as well. I just discovered that the outer bearing race spins inside the front wheel hub. The brake drum is a 11" x 3" and from the looks of it they are hard to find or come by. I have read on other forums people using a knurling tool...
