    New to B body forums

So something like Ram/cowl induction? Sort of like the on the 68? 69? Plymouth roadrunner? That reminds me... I considered what I had done to be butchered, and not "original" or a complete pure Honda "ricer" but I wasn't about to cut a hole in the hood to complete the air intake ducting...

Engine stalls after only when car is warm

Make sure the choke is fully 'off' when the engine is hot. The float level should be checked [ 7/16" ] because they can be knocked about in shipment.

1969 Dodge Charger bolt size front bumper to frame

Should be 1/2-13 AKA 1/2 NC.... If a coarse bolt doesn't thread in the threads are either damaged or rusty... Run a tap through them....

Are People Keeping Their Word to Call You?

If I don't return calls I don't work.... I'll admit I don't want to work quite as much as I have in the past, but I still have that response built in... Can't understand the new way of the world...

Are People Keeping Their Word to Call You?

Sadly, it's so frequent in these times to say "I'll get back to you" and not actually mean it - that it's used as a means of simply blowing someone off. SOP apparently... Me being me, I take that sort of thing literally though - and often will call them back after a bit and ask bluntly: "did...

Inexpensive “Cordoba” Brake Upgrade for 70 Road Runner

According to Professer Ehrenberg (the acknowledged expert), the spindles are key to everything: "The knuckle you need for our primary swap is from any ’73-’74 E-body, or, believe it or not, any ’73- ’76 disc-equipped A-body (Valiant/Dart/Duster)." Doing this maintains the original steering...

Inexpensive “Cordoba” Brake Upgrade for 70 Road Runner

late "A" BBP spindles are the same part number as 73-74 E-body spindles. Nothing special about using them on an E-body. I have all 3 of those parts to mock that combo up. Thanks. About what year did you loose your Valiant up on Mulholland?

The AMC 20 differential is actually quite robust, being a 8.875", bigger than a Dana 44, same with the pinion shaft. It's the axles that are the weak link, and they can be upgraded.

RB Engine assembly numbers and how they relate to production sequence

I have a question I think someone may know? I'm wondering about the numbers stamped on the top pad on the RB engines. I understood they are stamped when the engine was assembled. Were the engines then installed on the line in a similar order to their assembly? For example I have heard that there...

Ignition coil testing - I may be losing some knowledge here, so can I get confirmation here?

Thanks for all the help - I'm just looking for a quick way at a glance at a flea market or swap meet to determine whether a given coil is worth horsetradin' over.

Inexpensive “Cordoba” Brake Upgrade for 70 Road Runner

Gen 1 cordoba caliper brackets, late "A" BBP spindles, '73 (only!) Fury/Imperial rotors. These one year only "C" body rotors fit all late "A", "F", "M", and "J" body spindles. Standard calipers accepted these wider rotors without modifications. Can't say if they fit "E" body spindles because...
