A great point... Under the hood is black... Not sure why they repainted the trunk... I suppose most drivers open the trunk a lot more often than the hood... Thanks for your advice :)
Yeah,I think the spring clips will work,but I don’t understand why they don’t offer them either with the new molding now.. this is one of the great qualities of this car is all that trim.Im really adamant in Installing it all correct with out tape.. thanks for your thoughts much appreciated! big...
Interesting, My GTX that I have owned since 1978 has the mouldings attached with the 3 little spring clips and a screw with a very thin head attaching the tab of the moulding. Back in the late '70s, early '80s I removed the original mouldings from a couple of Sport Satellites that were attached...

I believe sunoco 110 race gas has 2x the lead then 100LL. Higher octane race gas 3x the lead.
Its been many years but we switched from race gas and av gas with no discernable difference racing. That was with 13.4:1 on a mid 10 sec car. . We also mixed 100LL with pump gas on lower compression...

What is really annoying is that there was room to adjust. The UCA cam bolts were not all the way in at the rear. They were near the center. To the rear would have given both negative camber and more caster.
