Agreed! If you (the Rhetorical "you",lol), don't,like black, I understand! Black is my least favorite color on my cars, But white?!? How about jade green, nice med/dark blue or brown? Maroon? I think white would have been my last choice to try to cover black.

Is that a MSD Blaster 2 ign coil? If so, that has a 0.7 ohm primary winding which is much too low for the Chrys ECU. The Chrys coils had ~1.5 ohm pri res plus a 0.5 ohm res in series to give ~2.0 ohm. That ECU may have some internal device that detects excessive current &/or heat & opens the cct...
