I had the clock converted to a quartz movement some years ago, but never installed it of tested it until last week.
When I did I was little surprised to see the center disc turning with the second hand.
Good to know that what its doing, is correct.
I stumbled across this on my phone the other day.
If you look at my avatar pic, you will see the same car as it looked when I owned it back in 2003.
Now looking back, I should have hung on to it....
The rubber bushing that I have is pliable and I'm thinking that to install it. I would mount the bracket in a vice then lube up the bushing with some silicone compound then wedge it in using a screw driver.
Just an idea..

I probably got it wrong on showing the half round shield sitting on the right side manifold. Do you think it is really a left side manifold heat shield?
