Good choice. You are correct, this is the focal point of the car, it needs to be spot on. Not **** at all through my eyes. If you are going to do something, do it right.

I use Performance Car Graphics, never had an issue. I can see the rotation previously mentioned. I would call and voice my concern with Phoenix. It is not right.

Best in the business. Shipping from the States gets a little pricey, but well worth it. His attention to detail is spectacular. He is one of my preferred suppliers.
Just a few of the pieces he did for me.

Justin, congrats on the X being chosen to represent MCACN as the 1:18 scale model this year. I will say it again, passion builds an OE car, not an hourly rate. Well done!

The judges at MCACN have a thankless job. They are asked to judge all models from different decades and from different plants. No one has that kind of knowledge base and they work off of accepted knowledge across the spectrum. Many of the things I saw points deducted for were for things that...
Justin,
It was a pleasure to finally meet you in person. Job welll done on the X. Thank you for the honor of pulling back the cover during the unveiling along with the infamous "Richard Cranium".
Congrats on the score. I heard they were a bit tight with the scoring this year so hats off to...
Justin,
Here is your target/goal for MCACN. Knowing how you have your car done, you should be a shoe in. I too look forward to meeting you in person.
D
Justin,
Just out trolling my favorite posts this morning. Are you going to bring the X to MCACN this year? I would love to see it in person. Keep up the good work.

When I used to watch that show, I always looked forward to the episodes with ASM. Sue always cracked me up. Just her accent saying Azz Monkey was/is the best!
Well, Justin, we can all put a face to your name now. :D:D

Make sure the column isn't 180 degrees off.
OK, if I had read your first post with the column install, I would have seen you were on top of it. My bad.
DD
Justin,
Make sure the column isn't 180 degrees off. There is a mark on the coupler that faces upward when everything is correct. With the wheels straight and steering wheel in the correct position, it will look like this.
I had to remove my column more than I care to say. Just want you to...
Justin,
Very nice! I am enjoying watching the progress on this incredible build. Thank you for sharing, we all learn something new when a car is restored to this level. Keep the pictures coming.

J,
As usual, I appreciate the detail. Keep up the good work! You are correct, the repop VR are not even close to originals. Was your original done with red lettering?
There are many variations in the lettering from color and font size during the 1969 production year at LR. I do know that...
