Cars of yesteryear did have distinctive looks. You could tell them apart at a glance. You have to look for their logo today to tell what make they are, that is if you know what their their logo looks like.

There hasn't been dipsticks in automatic transmissions for awhile. :rolleyes:
I remember several makers having "low oil" lights in the dash. A sensor in the oil pan tells you when its a quart low.
I want a dipstick, at least a way to visually check any fluid levels. Cars for dumb asses...
They've come a long way with vascular treatments these days. A guy at work had a blockage above his heart. They went in through his neck and inserted a stint. He stopped in to see the boss a week after. Back to work in two weeks.

Wish mine was that rust free when I first bought it. I needle scaled the whole frame and painted it just to help it last. The rear fender flairs have a couple of small bubbles starting under them, rockers doing the same. Had to replace one rear...
The seller definitely knows 4.7s and the difference between the years. I'm wondering why he's selling the engine out of the Dakota that appears to be quite solid. Maybe the frame is rusted beyond repair?
I bought my 03 with bent valves because of a jumped timing chain. They are an interference...
