Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and blah

Cars of yesteryear did have distinctive looks. You could tell them apart at a glance. You have to look for their logo today to tell what make they are, that is if you know what their their logo looks like.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and blah

30, 40 years ago a manufacturer would sue another for stealing a certain part or look. Wouldn't it be awful if the only shirt you could buy was a Hawaiian one!

    No dipstick?

There hasn't been dipsticks in automatic transmissions for awhile. I remember several makers having "low oil" lights in the dash. A sensor in the oil pan tells you when its a quart low. I want a dipstick, at least a way to visually check any fluid levels. Cars for dumb asses...

Spent the weekend in the hospital

They've come a long way with vascular treatments these days. A guy at work had a blockage above his heart. They went in through his neck and inserted a stint. He stopped in to see the boss a week after. Back to work in two weeks. You take it easy and listen to your doctor :)

Man, you can't beat that with a stick  Wish mine was that rust free when I first bought it. I needle scaled the whole frame and painted it just to help it last. The rear fender flairs have a couple of small bubbles starting under them, rockers doing the same. Had to replace one rear...

    engine for my Durango.....

The seller definitely knows 4.7s and the difference between the years. I'm wondering why he's selling the engine out of the Dakota that appears to be quite solid. Maybe the frame is rusted beyond repair? I bought my 03 with bent valves because of a jumped timing chain. They are an interference...

I bought these used just to get the truck inspected. Date 2817. No signs of cracks and they're made in the USA.
