    Might be a. good time to change the oil. These work, 1-6 pounds. I would rather source a proper pressure pump than add parts and fittings to a fuel system. Less chance of a leak someday.

    Me too. I have to consciously remind myself that good enough is sometimes just fine. The low hanging fruit here is: a 727 and 3.23's gets the car on the road sooner with acceptable rpm's for occasional trips. Later, you can decide if it works for you or if you need an overdrive. Nobody...

    I just bought one. It may need one heli-coil. Depends if a 1966 afb uses the small or large bolt pattern. One of the larger pattern holes is stripped. $180, shipping will be from $25-$82. Remains to be seen. If Speedee doesn't do call tags any more, it will be the 82.

    My Internationals seem to run warmer every year until I flush them. In a year's time, it will move a needle thickness. After flushing, the needle returns to the proper place and the process begins again.

    I'm using the original 1966 AFB on a fresh stock motor with lightly ported 452 heads, 1968 HP exhaust, and a "383 Magnum" grind camshaft. It came with a standard cam (325 horse) So, the larger runners hold a bigger charge even though it's sucked through the same size hole in the head?

    How to determine build date?

    what date range of blocks would appear as original to this car? The original engine has two spun main bearings, broken pistons, and a slew of bent push rods. It ran when parked, but went knockity-knockity.
