I think this is correct. The spring drops into the piston, and then plug screws in to seal it. The other end of the plug seals off a pump orifice until oil pressure overcomes spring pressure.
I have never cared for the full rear fender cut out look on those cars. I remember a friend having a 1967 GTX that had rusty rear quarters (Ontario Rust Belt car). This was 40+ years ago, and he bought a pair of junkyard front fenders, and grafted the wheel well area into the rear quarters to...
My 1967 Coronet R/T with green tinted glass. My car only had tinted windshield originally, but with Daffodil Yellow colour, I knew all tinted glass would look great. My 1964 Polara 4-door hardtop with tinted glass. I had a factory A/C parts car with the tinted glass, and transferred it all to...

I had one of your Dream cars; 1981 Imperial. For me, more like a nightmare; it was easily one of the worst cars I have ever owned. I bought it used for its looks, but it was an electrical horror show. The fuel injection was unreliable, but I changed the EFI 318 for a carb'ed 360, and things got...
Welcome to FBBO from Ontario. Good luck with your Charger project. A friend of mine bought a fully loaded triple black Charger SE new in 1974. He had saved for, and ordered a new Corvette, but it never came in, despite all the dealership's excuses. He got sick of waiting for it, and looked...
When I bought my 1967 Coronet R/T, it came with a full set of the optional "mag-look" wheel discs in the trunk. One of them had one of the fake lug nuts twisted off. LOL.
