You must scratch your head and have money fall out. Stuff your furniture with money. Wipe with it perhaps. Because the BASE price of that 6-pack injection system you posted is $2650. DAMN!

Yuck. That paintjob makes it a pretty cheap car for me. Sorry if this is yours; I'm just another a-hole with an opinion :jerk:
We got an OLD GUY over here! Lol, if you're gonna be a negative nelly, just don't respond. :thebirdman: Goes for a lot of threads on here...
Usaroadrunner, your car is a beaut! Have always thought so as you've been building it. Keep on keepin on! :headbang:
Welcome! :VB toast:
Two things:
1) Where are the pics?! Here at FBBO, we thrive on pics.. and you will hear incessant questioning and whining if you don't post them.
2) Most people around here will tell you to restore your car (seems like any car) back to factory specs. See above ^^...
There seems to be a lot of hemming hawwing in this thread. And I don't mean to sidetrack it. But why not fuel injection? Something like Atomic EFI?
Relatively easy install. Better throttle response. Better MPG. And reliable reliable reliable. Right?...
I don't have any parts for ya, but I'm right next door in Belleville! Let me know if I can help! Picking up my mom at the airport tonight so I'll be driving by...
I'm 33, so around here I guess I'm with the "young" crowd.. but I have many even-younger friends (and brothers) in their 20s that would rather put their money (and usually less money overall than would be spent on old iron) into a new car, financed or not. Want to see what they're buying...
I hear ya on that. I work full time and we have a 6 month old now. I can never find time to get in the garage, and I usually get guff when I do. I'm thinking now it will be faster just to save up, find a reputable shop (easier said than done), and pay for someone else to do all I want done...
Yeah it's tough to say really. I hear and see a lot of prices thrown around on this site, and then I know a few people who have bought and sold, and of course there's the rest of the internet... the prices and WIW I hear about on here are consistently considerably lower than what you see...

$12k for a 440 4-speed in driver condition. Working gauges, coilovers, new exhaust, good glass, clear title, registered. Seems like a good deal to me.. and if I had that kind of loose change sitting around I'd really ponder it. Is that a...
Probably thousands. I'm hoping for someone who has done it in a b-body charger and their story, not just pictures.
As for high end, I guess I'm not a very "high end" kind of person, nor do I have a high end budget. I feel like this hobby used to be for everyone but has morphed to be somewhat...
Thanks for the reply Benno. It looks like you have the stock dashboard but fitted a sheet metal panel to it to accept the aftermarket gauges? Is that correct? Can't exactly tell from the pic.
