I would think the hemi conversion would be the most expensive and if installed with all the electronics : are you capable of repairing it .? I like a 440 with a bit more punch than stock with a 5 speed overdrive. Upgrade to electronic ignition and now it is almost bullet proof with street...
why would anyone put 8 inch on the front? * and 10's (if they fit are fine on the rear. The 68 charger has a far bigger well than the 66/67 models...10 inch stock may not work..10 inch with a proper backspace may. I run 215's on the front of my 67....and even on the 69 bee...my 2 cents...wide...
That 440 will slide in like a foot in a broke in shoe.....as long as it has the BB K frame....get a mini starter if using headers...and remflex gaskets for the headers

there's a small flat tab on the driver's side block....even with the distributor,that can tell what year motor and if HP....just if front of the valley pan
