Have you done a cooling system test? Pressure test your system and the cap. That's good for a start. When you say "heating up" what temp is it getting up to? Is it puking coolant or just high on the gauge?
I may have found the answer on the Hamtramck site. It is under ordering information. I see the code with a E designation (extra cost) for all Coronet models except 4 door and wagon. They are standard on convertibles.
Here's a old thread from here I want to save. M31 - belt mouldings I see guys have them on post cars, Road Runners, Coronetts, they can standard on converts and Chargers it seems.
Were the M31 code upper door trims available on Super Bees? (top of the door skin. Lay your arm on it when the window is down) If you have a 70 Bee with them on a picture would be great and the option on a window sticker or build sheet would be perfect. I will post a picture if I can find one.
You can't get a small amount from them? Obviously not or you wouldn't be asking. Can you get the formula for the color? That's a probably not but worth a try. Can you remove a painted part on the engine and have a automotive paint company scan it with their gun and mix up a pint for you...
If they don't have any "arch" they are weak and need replaced. Contact ESPO Springs and Things. They will be the last set you have to install on that car.
