We drive our 64 fury wagon with the back window down part way and no fumes. Exhaust exits on left side behind tire. That is where it was from factory.
My new steering wheel did not fit right on my 64 Belvedere. I did a lot of fileing to get it to slide on far enough. I hope you have better luck....

I have done like PurpelBeeper did. Found a blade like I needed at NAPA installed just the blade in an original holder and it works .

you can pump the grease in with a grease gun also.
Use John Deere corn head grease. It works very well in that application.
Replaced the original timing chain on my 88,000 mile 64 Belvedere with 318 engine. Then took it for a short drive for ice cream.

I have used a Petronix ignition on my 66 Barracuda with factory Tac for 15 years and the tac works fine.
Mark all the vacuum lines that are removed from heater box. I would not remove the lines from the heater switch and risk breaking the it.
I would check the heater valve first and see if that is your leak. It is on the left end and can be replaced without removing the heater box.
I would like more pictures of what is included also. and what is missing, more then engine trans?
I used this system in my shop 7 years ago. No problems at all. I found it easy to install also.
