On the motor - sure, but I’d be surprised if it fit underneath the hood. Mine fit underneath the hood on my 68 X by a hair and I’m not sure that was with the whole air cleaner set-up on it. I don’t remember - I had very quickly acquired a six pack hood to go w/it all.

They’ve always been the “way to go”. Two years in the car has substantial depreciation built in v driving a new car off the lot. If you’re buying preowned from a dealer you’re also getting a full warranty. Private party at least the remaining warranty. A lot of savings for nearly a new vehicle.
