On my 70 383 I ran the original iron intake, then a DP4B on a mostly stock (headers) car and noticed much better throttle response with the Edelbrock. After that I rebuilt the motor with "3/4" Crane cam, TRW domed pistons and a B motor 6 BBL setup. Ran way better than it should, switched to an...
Good save! Don't know your plans for it, but if it were mine I wouldn't give a thought to originality and make it any way you want to. And welcome here!
Thank you, that's exactly what I needed to see. Will be interested to see the fronts with the fenders back on which they may already be since I'm rereading this whole thread from the beginning. Seriously awesome car, I'm sure you're proud!

That's a shame, bought their 26" radiator brackets for 22" radiator supports. Was planning on either buying a 26" from them or having them recore my 22. Guess not now.
Sounds exactly like mine, coated Hookers, want to recore radiator to 3 row max cooling core, and a perfect set of manifolds to go on if that's the way I go. Be interested in hearing back here if you do go that way how obvious the loss of power is, what the sound quality, etc. is afterwards.
Reading the Q&A for the B engine Doug's Headers D451, Summit says they won't work with column shifted automatic cars. Does anyone have these installed on a similar car? I went out to the Doug's website and there's zero info on fitment like there is on the TTI website.
