Remove and clean with Deoxit. I put new pins in mine, purchased on Ebay. Very easy. Purchased crimping tool on Amazon made specifically for these connectors.

Per the video, when turning right moving the wheel to the right cancels the switch instead of when the wheel turns back left. When turning left it works normally.
