    1973-1974 quarter window install.

On doors, 71/72 vs 73/74 the only difference between regulators is actually how they slide into the channels. First ones are square sliders while laters are rolers, but they perfectly interchange. now, dunno about rears really. Even less between Chargers and Plymouths

    Engine wiring harness questions

Small block harnesses can be adapted to Big Block and backwards. Just need to enlarge some of the wiring, specifically the dist and coil wires. now, as far I know there are some of the sick pack stuff which is not present on the SB or BB harness, but is mostly related into the same engine bay...

    Alternator parasitic drain

@pnora Thats a regular stock “revised” squaredback alternator with a mounted on regulator to become it onto a “one wire” alt. if you remove it, you can wire it like stock “dual field” alt, like factory did since 1970.

Fuel Filter Location on '73 Charger w/440

Not exactly filter for 73 but still 71 B body, so, same configuration… you get the idea. On this pic the bottom line looks a bit diff than the one posted from eBay but we must consider that filter gets the nipples offset, while on 73 the filter is smaller and with centered nipples, so the gas...

    Rear light thingy?

No Plymouth but Charger tail lights…same for Plymouth

    Rear light thingy?

Grommet to tail lights. Driver side carries all the signals. Passenger side just side marker after spread up all the wiring along the tail lights. Grommets are part of the tail light assembly because harness is. No removable sockets on 70s models.

Will a 71/72 Satellite bumper fit on a 74 body

There is something about 73/74 bumpers that I like more than 71 and 72. 71 and 72 looks like somebody kicked in their asses, LOL. harder on 71s of course, LOL.

318 vs 440 distributor... are they the same?

Everything together. -diff shaft length -spins on opposite direction. This makes vacuum and mech advance diff too Rotor, cap, reluctor and pickup coil are the same thought. diff housing too (To accomodate the right vacuum pod)

74 road runner starts when key is released from start

Failure on resistor would be backwards… starting while cranking and cutting when releasing the key but this could be posible just on points car, because on elect ign the resistor failure won’t allow to feed the ECU while cranking either. in this case if engine starts up when key is released...

74 road runner starts when key is released from start

Rear speaker to defogger motor adapter for a '71-'74 B-body

I tried…. big no. Deck lid torsion bars are in the middle… aside there is no provision for the rear bracket. It would be around the dutchman panel. I have to admit neither tried hard, just presented on area and found it was to be a challenge to try to fit it. On 20 years around the Mopar...
