    Car Show Gripe/Rant

We have a big show and shine Friday night, Memorial Day weekend. Hundreds of cars attend. A group of us Mopar guys all park in the same place and we draw quite a crowd. I don't have time to walk around and look at cars. Too busy visiting with the other guys and the spectators. Right @Scott...

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

A few years ago at our Mopar Maxx event, we had a small car show and no divisions for the late model cars. A big group of new Challengers and Chargers showed up and cleaned house, beating out some nice older Mopars including A 12 cars and a big block Barracuda convertible. I overheard the group...

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

We have one that has temper tantrums as well. The people that vote in the peoples choice shows get tired of the same guy winning all the time. I have been beat out by a car like mine but half the quality just because a large group of his friends showed up and voted for his car. Even the show...

    welcome Wagon

Welcome Bob! Nice 65 you have there. Is that light blue or mint green? Both were popular colors. Similar story here. I always liked early B Bodies but never owned one. As I was nearing 70 I thought I better get with the program or I will be too old to enjoy it. I liked the looks of the 64 and...

My new to me 64 Polara

One vendor I know talked about how much it cost him to vend at the Nats or Carlisle. Thousands of dollars invested and you have to sell a lot of re-pop screw kits and radio knobs to make up that cost. 3 trucks with enclosed trailers, lot's of fuel, a week's lodging for 4-6 people. Food for 4-6...

I have seen a few good sized vendors bail out on the big shows. They can make more money by staying home and selling online..

Locked My Keys in My Truck $#&!

Pretty easy if the windows are cracked open a bit. Even if not, call a towing company and they will be in in a min. or two. They would probably reach inside with their unlock tool and hit the power lock button. Hide a door key somewhere on the truck or in your wallet.

Thanks for the info. I haven't bought from him but I have heard all good about him and his parts. A early B body guy for sure.
