Rear disc are troublesome getting a high, hard pedal and contribute little to the braking on a normal street car where 80% of the braking is with the front brakes.
Only benefit of 4 wheel disc brakes is with constant braking that will heat up the brakes beyond normal...
Try pulling the springs away from the sheet.
Put something as a spacer between the spring and the burlap a few inches away from the build sheet to take the pressure off of the paper.
Better to remove the seat. They come out easily.
Always replace front drums in pairs. They should have the same amount of material left or the thinner one will most likely cause a pulling problem when hot.

Just the point that there are a lot of cars with low mileage tires that have been on for a long time. It is age not wear that is important. DOT gives week and year of manufacture. That is the age that counts for safety.

100 miles is not age, it is wear. Could be 10 years old with 0 miles and be bad tires because of age.
Check D.O.T. numbers for age.

Proper procedure is to park on level ground. Start car and warm up to operating temperature, place transmission in Neutral only ! Check fluid level, should be about 1 pint low to be proper amount.
