Thanks, yeah that is for the coopers 275/60r-15s for $315 I think I see them on Amazon and I bought four 225/70r-15s for $235 (that I was going to use on the magnum 500s) and $100 for lug nuts but some I already have.. then I can get them mounted and balanced for $100.. I may be into them a...
Since the repro 500s that came with car turned out to be bent. And I had these, tires , lug nuts mounting, balance etc.. I am probably still going to be close to $600.00 f I do all four tires.. boy it all adds up.. would you just run these?
Thanks, so here is t centerlines I have, but on the left side I have about exactly a half inch clearance to the lip of the quarter panel, would you be comfortable with that? The right side has something like two and a half inches.. go figure..
If someone bought a GTX in 69 what would it have left the factory with? I thought most cars left with painted wheels and dog dishes? Yes 14in.. I imagine?
Thanks for the thread. So the readlines on my GTX were getting about 20 years old so I put some cheap radials on it just for safety. When balancing I found out three of the wheels are bent. Seems lots of wheels are bent anymore? I dont know whether to spring for the aluminum or just buy steel...
Thanks for the help,. How about some thoughts on this one. I acquired this engine a few years ago with some stuff I needed in a package deal. This appears to be 1976 model but I don't get any stamps from the left front of the block.
Do I have the 73 with automatic transmission I pulled years...
Thanks!
I pulled this years ago from a friends car that was wrecked and I had known that the engine and trans was good. So now years later I have collected more 360s than I will ever need. Your info helps a lot on what to keep and what to get rid of or junk if I have to.. I have this other 360...
The plug is new, I may have a tap for that but female pipe tap is something to be careful with probably.. maybe I can look for a tap and chase it a little?
Thanks to everyone on this tread.. I spoke with the body man the other day and apparently he didn't use the DDL-9355, or even try to get it.. But he called the paint supply guy while I was there and it seems the DDL-9355 is now unavailable? Or just maybe in the communist sate of Maryland? Either...
Thanks, for the replies. I spoke with the gentleman from Sled City, we had a nice conversation. He said it wasn't one of his and not an original. He indicated I a fair asking price would be $450.00 with the mounting hardware that was removed. Shipping is what I really dread..
Appreciate it,
Thanks, this car is a original "looking" but still somewhat original GTX in a lot of ways albeit being a driver. I have taken a few liberties for drive-ability but for the money and effort I think I can be closer? I appreciate the help. I will have to swing by the body shop.
Thanks for the replies!! Yeah, so that DDL 9355 someone gave me is not correct? I had a body shop that I like do the paint work and I thought he did the DDL 9355 because that is what someone gave me.. So what is the thought here, is this the driver solution now? Or should I try to get it closer...
Is ths the right texture for the black on the GTX hood? I saw a roadrunner yesterday and that paint was really a rough surface .
It's a 69 if that makes a difference?
Thanks
I just put a AMD hood on the GTX and I am done with this aftermarket lift off hood. It has no structure underneath but never showed any signs of stress... But I can't see anyone doing anything but using it for a lift off. I have all the hardware to go with it.
Any idea what to ask for this...
Thanks, so that paint code is for the black satin? Do you happen to have the code for the green? And I assume the red in the metal blanks is correct? where do I get that paint? Thanks Jay
I doubt I would spend a lot of time or effort on your miss match. I would be the last to miss represent a car, but your doing a tribute car anyway so.. IMO its kinda make it what you want to enjoy anyway.. In the back of my mind I know they are reproducing tags so lots of things are up for...
