If I turn the headlight switch all the way to the left it does click into position to turn on the overhead interior light.
The orange wire splits off to the five smaller guage orange wires inside the wiring harness. It's wrapped up inside the harness. Only way to see this would be to unwrap...

The orange wire on the back of the fuse block goes into the harness that goes up to the instrument cluster. Somewhere in this harness the orange wire is split into five smaller guage orange wires that are your instrument lights.
I've only pulled the steering wheel. I'll tape up the part of the column to keep it from getting scratched up. Loosening the column would give you a little more room.
