Well, first your wanting to delete messages not posts... I've seen a few guys truly wanting to delete all their posts... That to me seems like a lot of anger....
Killer Carbide has a good rep, but the burrs you already have can work a lot better if they weren't loading up.... There are a lot of products that will stop or at least slow the accumulation... WD-40 is far from the best but everyone already has some.. Better is Tap Magic for Aluminum, Old...
Unbelievable.. I've had nothing but good luck with those... I guess there are lemons waiting around every corner... Let us know how the replacement does...
Coral always gives me crap about my stock exhaust, tells me "everyone else's cars sound beefy" but after hours on the road, quiet exhaust is kinda nice...
My original seats are worn but still quite serviceable... But I ordered new covers and foam with plans to recover them... But now I'm thinking I might buy a set of frames and save the complete set of seats for another project.... But I haven't seen anyone post about the new seat frames... Do...
Sounds like a great drive!! I still enjoy taking them out but gotta admit, it hurts more than it use to....
Oh as an added informational point... When I restored my green car seat foams weren't available.... My red car has new seat foams, the difference on longer drives is night & day... I now...
People are stupid... When I was growing up stupid was painful.... Stupid should hurt, it helps reduce the proliferation of stupid people in the world.... Currently we are in a pandemic of stupid...
I just gathered parts today to build a set.... Usually I use HF wheels, the quality seemed even lower that normal so I passed... Ordered a set of these...
Greg, I know not of what you speak...
I think this past weekend we saw enough trouble for the next few years... Nothing serious but it slowed our pace some...
My advise? Get a good towing plan... And bring friends to keep you amused while waiting for the tow truck...
Back in 96 I had...
That's a pretty abbreviately list... RnR HOF is a joke... Both in who they have inducted as well as who they haven't...
Congrats to the guys from Foreigner just the same... They deserve to be in a Real RnR HOF...
A buddy of mine knew a guy who's car burned on Thursday... Something in the right rear wheel.. Severely damaged....
It was good to finally meet you....
Thin oil gets oil to all the flow restricted areas quickly so it reduces start up wear & may help fuel economy... But with looser bearing clearances and fully grooved main bearings both of which are commonly used in high performance engines it can lead to low oil pressure... I'd be trying some...
Back in the late 70's I experienced it... 383, over 6K rpm's & the oil pressure dropped to the point the idiot light came on & the gauge confirmed it... Shut it down, a minute later fired it up & the oil pressure was fine....
The engine had a Crower 280 duration 500 lift cam & kit, hooker...
First I would temporarily attach a calibrated master gauge, compare it to your dash so you know if the dash is close to truth...
Second high volume pumps have been known to pump most of the oil up into the top of the engine quicker than it can find it's way back to the pan....
