Is this the sticker you have on your 73?? Years back I bought this sticker from YO because my version of "45" wasn't reproduced yet. The big box stores like YO and Classic usually have close but no cigar when it comes to restoration pieces. Ron

My engine is in my 1972 Satellite Sebring and that is the correct version. The later years used a larger one with red white and blue if I remember right. Is that what you're speaking of? Ron

First we need to know what engine we are speaking of?? I can only tell you for sure that big blocks are Orange wires and spark plug boots but small blocks may not be. Ron

Electronic ignition wires were Orange, I see some black reproductions but haven't a clue why. I usually find "NOS" on E-bay with dates in the 80's or 90's. Ron

The info. NO CAR2023 posted is what you need and the pictures of the engine afterwards is very good except your 72 should have electronic ignition which dictates Orange wires. Ron

Fran even though I ordered the restoration cable I'm just going to make the 2/0 positive cable to see how that works and then the negative 2/0 cable. The resto cable will probably just take up space on the shelf. Thank Ron

OK just to answer some questions and tell what I did today. I made an 10g wire to sort of help the battery cable, the end on the battery cable actually cracked today when I attached the wire. It is since 2015 when car was built so ordered another restoration cable (I'm a gluten for punishment)...

I'm going to make up the additional wire from battery post to starter stud to help positive wire because I can do this cold and see what happens when hot . Working alone sucks when doing stuff like this. Ron

Oops forgot to say, I have had 2 different new dakota starters and just installed a Power Master XS last week which cranks faster so I tryed locking the distributor and it went to slow crank when hot. I now have distributor back to unlocked with 20 initial and it will tolerate that. Ron
