BTW, when you get on it it's going to get hot and it's probably going to spew coolant out the Overflow tube happened to me
Do you have a coolant recovery tank? If not maybe it just came out of the Overflow tube that runs down alongside the radiator.
Was it built to close tolerances that might create a issue. I had my 383 built to close tolerance and it ran hot for about a month and then cooled...
great idea, and i already have a heat gun. seems like the same principle as wiring shrink tubes.
looks like a very hi quality piece.
the way i removed mine was using a pair of pliers grasping the outside edge of the retainer, and while turning it cc, pulling at the same time....
glad to hear things have cooled down for ya. you lucked out with a Japanese part! coulda been much worse! say, Chinese for example.
what is your temp reading at idle? judging by all the improvments you've done to the cooling system, i would assume 190-200.
