Whats the longest you've waited for parts?

How about "indefinitely"? I had a 3-month long back-and-forth with that miscreant from Liberty Mopars and finally said fuggit and canceled my credit card payment.

I do most of my browsing with a computer, I'm old school. But here's a trick for Android: Android (Using Google Photos): Open the WebP image in Google Photos. Tap the "Edit" button. Make a small adjustment, like cropping slightly or applying a filter with a low strength. Tap "Save copy" to...

    Grendel lives...resurrection of a 1970 Charger 500

I was having a heckuva time trying to route the hood signal indicator wires through the channels in the hood. Even with the hood up to let gravity be my friend, the wires would only go down half way before getting stuck on something. I thought maybe some 3/8" fuel line might work, and tried...

    Grendel lives...resurrection of a 1970 Charger 500

I wasn't happy with how loose the upper fender gaskets were attached, with the metal clips being too small for the holes in the splash shield. I was planning to screw in some sheetmetal screws through the rubber to get it more firmly attached, because I believe it would literally start popping...

The latest annoying trend: notched spoilers

Great point. This brings up another annoyance. They ought to put notches on the ends of those spoilers too, because it seems most people have their side mirrors aimed straight back at me, instead of angled to view their blind spots.

Now cut a 2-inch notch out of the middle of that wing and see a dramatic improvement...in nothing.

The latest annoying trend: notched spoilers

I'm not buying that there's any benefit to a notched spoiler vs. a full straight spoiler other than aesthetics...or to reduce downforce, which defeats the purpose. I'd like to find some wind tunnel testing of the exact same spoiler, with one having the notch...

The latest annoying trend: notched spoilers

It seems everywhere you look these days, cars are sporting these notched spoilers: It's annoying to me because the functional reason for a spoiler is downforce, yet you reduce any benefit of it by notching out a chunk. Form before function, I guess. Maybe I'm the only one that hates the...

Nice Polara. I just did that rust repair on my '70 Charger...the inside fender rear splash shield on the passenger side was rusted out and the rubber gaskets were toast. Yours looks like a bit more work, though...good luck with the repairs, looking forward to seeing the resto. Grendel...

I've purchased from National Moparts several times this summer, no complaints about their shipping rates. I'll continue to read your posts, but do yourself a favor and add me to your exalted "list" already. Clearly it's causing you undue stress.
