    HI, OK I seam to think I could just turn the center shaft.. I didn't realize / think it was attached to the gear.. Makes scenes how else could the cam turn the distributor.... OK.. Not sure of removing the gear part?? Maybe I'll just fill the oil up thru the heads so it coats the lifter and runs...

    HI, yes 4bbl. QF 450 (I well increase that if I need to) ,Eldelbrock performer intake, Stock heads for a 75 had him take 10T off to bump the compression a little, stock manifolds 2 1/4 " duels out the back, stock converter, 308 rear gears. Not looking for anything crazzy..

    HI, yeah I've thought about headers , but they make so much under hood heat, can't afford ceramic coating .. there's not much in an affordable range for budget builds.. I could wrap them i guess.. even cheap ones are like 700$$ + install you have to remove tie rod I think to run it thru headers...

    HI, On my 75 its hard to get to the top of the bolts that hold the down pipe on.. is there a way to attach studs or something to hold them while you attach the down pipe to bolt it up?? welding taping for studs??? what do you folks do??
