First time on forum. Just purchased a 1966 Charger. My name is Patrick and reside in good ol' Virginia.

I'm near Winchester. A bit farther north in Virginia (but, its less than a two hour drive to the Chrysler show at Carlisle!).

What's your view of improper rebadging a car ?

Always liked how you narrowed the RT trunk finish panel and made it work on the tailgate of that RT wagon.

What's your view of improper rebadging a car ?

When it comes to any 62 Plymouth, I doubt anyone would even question it. There were variations on the trim by model as well as by production date. For example, I know at the start of the model year, the Savoy and Belvedere had a single tail light on each side, the Fury had two on each side, and...

What's your view of improper rebadging a car ?

I added the Satellite/GTX (red/white/blue) grille badge to the grille of my 67 Belvedere wagon. I like the look on an otherwise very plain looking grille. Oh, and it completely covers a nasty gouge on the wide center horizontal bar of my grille.

    67 Belvedere wagon...It's Alive!!!

Its YY1. But, this is a 67 and apparently there was a difference between YY1 in 66 and 67. Didn't know that until a few years after I had it painted (when I went to the local Auto Body Supply to get a rattle can of YY1 for touch up). The body shop went by YY1 paint code to get the paint, and it...

    67 Belvedere wagon...It's Alive!!!

The original gas cap doesn't seem to fit securely. But I haven't yet put the screws in to hold the filler tube in place to the quarter. If it looks like I'll still loose the cap once everything is secured in place, I have considered going that route.

    67 Belvedere wagon...It's Alive!!!

In 2019, I bought this wagon, sight unseen, and had it shipped from Kansas City to Virginia. It's been a long road. But today, for the first time since I bought this wagon it moved under its own power. And it was probably it's first time moving under it's own power in more than a quarter of a...

What cars did you buy for 2-300 bucks back in the day?

Well, I'm in northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. Yes, we get snow, and the roads are heavily salted in the winter time. The rust showing, in the photo, was the only rust on the car during the time I owned it. I bought it from the original owner in Maryland. The wagon had no rust as it was an...

What cars did you buy for 2-300 bucks back in the day?

In the mid 70's, I bought my first car for $425. It was a 67 Belvedere II convertible with a 318. Ten years later, I bought a 64 Ford Country Sedan station wagon for $300 just to haul canoes around on. It had a 352 under the hood.

    Garage Floor Finish

When I first built my garage, I spent alot of time trying to figure out what coating would look good and be durable enough to last. I couldn't find anything I felt I could afford that would be practical. In the end, I decided to leave the concrete floor untreated. As much as the garage gets...

67 Belvedere Wagon Tail light Lens?

Tail light lens and bezel is unique to the wagons. I've been watching E-bay for a while. You can usually find every year Belvedere wagon tail lights except 67. Just hoping that nothing bad ever happens to mine.

    accents

I will never forget the time I was sitting at a traffic light, in my 68 Formula S Barracuda, in Berkley Springs, West Virginia. I was on my way home from the Mopar Nationals. A distinguished looking older gentleman was pumping gas into his Range Rover at a nearby gas station. He called over to...

Can't find upper radiator hose 67 Belvedere 383 with 22" radiator

Thanks. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Everywhere I checked only had the hose for the big block with 26" radiator.

Can't find upper radiator hose 67 Belvedere 383 with 22" radiator

Looks like the only upper hose anyone has for a big block is for the 26" radiator. Got one from Rock Auto and it not gonna work. That one has the inlet on the passenger side of the radiator. In 67-68, the 22" radiator had the inlet on the drivers side. I then figured I would ask my local parts...
