I can't give you the answer to your question but, the MAX wedge engines had notches machined in the cylinder bores just for clearance and flow. Maybe? Mike

We use hi- temp silicone on 800+ hp dirt track cars with zero failures. Yes I was a doubter to until I saw it with my own eyes.

They make them for quite a while, but the quality of the quarters is not that good. They don't compare to OEM or AMD. Out of stock btw.
