Things will be different.
[1] Remove the wires from the bal res. Measure the resistance; one should be 1.5 ohm or less, other should be 5 ohm.
[2] The 'cranking' position of the ign switch. Sometimes called ign 2. This supplies the cranking cct of the ign system. If this has a break/bad connection, you get no spark...
Should have "wire" clips that push into holes in the body panels. They spring outward once pushed through, preventing them from coming back out. Plastic trim removal tools and patience are your friends... Can sometimes squeeze them from the backside of the panel as well...
There is gearing listed in the tips, I didnt get the 440 chassis package but I know for the 11 sec. bracket on the 383 cars it lists maximum weight and 4.56s with like 29.5 inch slicks.
This is true with factory heads, but they make comparisons like for instance the stage 5 head will probably...
Sooooo, the engine has been modified but you are unsure of what has been done.....
If you want to 'play' to see if it can run better, the FIRST thing you should do is measure idle vacuum, in gear if auto trans. Report back.

The problem I see with the DC tips:
- no mention is made of gearing, car weight etc
- only factory heads considered. With a large number of aftermarket alum heads available now, it changes everything
- only FT cams are listed, no rollers.
