Actually, I suppose one could also simply install a shut off valve (to block) or a three way valve (to bleed) that is in the line that controls each shock, and that would allow one to bleed off one side, or over pressure one side, whichever the driver feels is needed, and continue to use the...
Some more research done on this car. I talked to 2nd owner extensively and got several more pics. It was originally TB3 Basin Blue. He confirmed it was stock 400 4 speed car with no console. I'm including a couple of more VIN pics here. One is the original door sticker that for some reason...
I've used Package Tray Boards to make headliners when I had my trim shop running many years ago. Supplier was about an hour away, I made the trip and picked several up as freight was a killer then too. Panel board is bulky and heavy. Call some local trim shops and see if they might have some...
Get under the car and follow the air lines from the shocks. Some are on one line and some set ups have a line for each shock. If they are on the same line, there is no way to adjust the pressure from side to side.
I have a 72 RR that is new to me. I can tell that the left side of the car is a little higher than the right side. I was thinking it’s possible how the air shocks are adjusted. I just have no idea how to adjust them. I only see one nipple that maybe I could hook up my compressor to but how would...
thanks all for the responses! Can someone help me identify the idle mixture screws? I believe it’s the two right in front of the carb circle in yellow but just want to be sure.
About a month ago, I mostly got my front valance reinstalled. It was a pain to line up the 5 mounting bolts and clips on either side, where it bolts onto the fenders...but with some choice words, it bolted on. However, I later noticed that the passenger side leading edge of the valance was not...
I have the oil pick up for that marine pan.
It is a swivel type that is similar to the early Max Wedge engines used.
I figure it so the pick up stays in the oil during acceleration and when stopping.
There’s probably some threads on this topic, but in case here’s another one. Just watched the first season of a show called Territory on Netflix. Only six episodes. Ended on a cliffhanger. WTH, the show has been cancelled despite having good viewership in the top-10 series for the year for...
I installed an aftermarket fuse panel.
I made a bracket to mount it below the glove box, close to the RH door hinge pillar.
This panel has a constant power side and a switched power side. I have a vacuum pump for the brakes that runs to this panel along with the trunk latch, stereo, auto...
So far the MC has stayed dry overnight but I probably won’t declare success until 3 days have passed. I put one of the other flap seals in a cup of DOT5 and I’ll watch it for a few months but I’m a skeptic of all the stories about DOT5 hurting seals. I think the manufacturers are just scared a...
