The Dual diaphragm booster will be a big improvement. Not so sure about 9" of vacuum. If you can double it somehow I think you will be Okay. With a race engine maybe manual brakes are the ticket.

They were a weakness on the dragstrip;but they worked very well on the streets. The Hemi solved the drag strip problem. The 2-bolt mains are good for 550-600 HP with studs. Perfectly adequate for probably 95% of builds. After that,a very good block and probably a girdle becomes a very good idea.
