UGH!! -- clutch disk stuck to flywheel

I had this happen to my Sport Fury, Gen 2 Hemi with a Lakewood scattershield (no inspection cover). If you can wait until you can start and drive the car then one of the above options should work. If the car is going to continue to sit unfinished then perhaps you should wait to free the disc...

'68 Charger project - Lock and Unlocking Kindig Door Handles?

On my 40' Ford Pickup I needed to add a way to lock the doors. The stock handles operate aftermarket latches with no lock mechanism. I cannot remember the brand but the pics will give you an idea of the quality of the pieces. The solenoids are mounted to a beefy aluminum block. The install...

So anybody try a wideband O2 on a crossrammed Hemi yet?

Good to hear. I think you did the right thing. It makes good sense to fix those issues before tuning. Let me or anyone else on this forum know if you need help or comparisons while you tune. For what it's worth, my soild flat tappet has 252 degrees @ .050.

Torsion Bar Crossmember Replacement 70 B-Body

Depending on what area I was working, I used a combination of 4 jack stands, my two-post lift and 2 hydraulic jacks with wood pieces. When I removed a rusted section, I used any of these tools to maintain the proper fitment and location during welding. There was very little movement so...

Torsion Bar Crossmember Replacement 70 B-Body

I took a variety of measurements before I started. Both with the vehicle on the ground, then also with it raised. I measured the front fender wheel-to-ground height so I could return the car to its normal stance. I measured mutiple areas around the frame and torsion bar section of both sides...

68 Coronet Longroof Posts 25, 26 and 27 are pics of what my crossmember started out as. Posts 42 and 43 have a few pics of the finished product. Used the AMD crossmember and used the ends only. I added "fish plates" and sub frame connectors (just 2"x3" rectangular tubing). I hope you plan...

A Request For Help From 2 Door Sedan Owners - Need Measurements Of Window Fuzzies/Cat Whiskers

I searched without luck for widow fuzzies/cat whiskers for my 68 Dodge Coronet Station Wagon. They are available for 66 - 67 2dr. Sedans. With a few measurements, I can determine if these will fit my application with some massaging. I am looking for total length for both front and rear side...

    68 Coronet Longroof

I went over all the bare metal areas in prep for epoxy primer. I sanded the engine bay and painted-in-place, the master cylinder and wiper motor. Then shot the Summit Racing epoxy primer. Today was the last day for a while, the temps would be warm enough to lay primer down. I hope to find a...

Clutch pedal to slave connection / rod -Early B Body

Without going into detail, this crude "fix" was due to a paid shop's (listed on Keisler's website) failed install of the hydraulic clutch set up. The appendage on the pedal arm took the sharp angle the shop left me with. It has been working without issue over 15 years.
