Hello Again…. The wiper motor on the 73 RR stopped working. Is there a fuse? I’ve searched the site & googled too. But can’t find a definitive answer. Which fuse controls the wiper motor? I’ve read about a “circuit breaker” in the switch? Any leads appreciated.

That is unknown. I took car over from brother in law’s estate. Car started life in St. Louis. Then went down south ti Alabama / Mississippi area where resto was done. It made its way out to CA where he picked it up. Was in storage for 10 years before i took it over last October.

Gave it a good soaking yesterday. If tbe forecast pans out, may be breaking this unit apart & getting this done once and for all this werkrnd.

Hey all. Tried a strap wrench and vice grips. Strap wrench got the top brass dome to spin. But not the shaft. No love with the vice grips either. Thinking may have to seperate head of unit from shaft and then easy out the shaft?

Wanted to give you all an update. Going through an old storage unit i found some leads. As of 7/1999 was registered in Tuscaloosa AL As of 10/2000 was registered in Northport AL. 2004 CA registration noted. Have plate #. Will keep searching and keep updating. I wonder its travels...

Hi all. Trying to swap out the oil pressure sending unit on a ‘73 RR 400. Issue is the 9/16 wrench fitting has been rounded off before i “inherited” it. Any creative ideas? I tried to get a 14mm wrench on it, but wouldn’t slip on. Didn’t try any “gentle” persuasion yet. Wanted to ask...

Was wondering the same thing. Have to sort out loose wires and burnt out bulbs etc. Just wondering. Where are you sending bezel for refinishing??
