It was a nice curve, slow decline, I need to track down the sheet. We left the carb alone for now, I wanted to get a good tune once everything was together, FBO ignition, full exhaust, timing etc. I figured we could fine tune after break-in? My dyno guy said he could probably squeeze another...
470 stroker kit from 440 source, Edelbrock performer rpm heads, full roller engine, Edelbrock performer rpm intake, Edelbrock AVS2 850cfm carb, TTI headers, FBO complete ignition set up ( coil, ignition module, distributor) I have to look up cam specs
Yes it does, the real test will be with A/C running on a 100 degree day in traffic, the 383 I took out would sit in traffic with A/C on at 215-220 but really never affected it.
Got up Friday morning and headed out on a 800 mile round trip from Virginia Beach to York Pennsylvania (51st annual NSRA street Rod Nationals East) and (17 annual Shively dealership Mopar show in Shippensburg) to shake down and break in Tremec TKO and 470 stroker. Car ran great! 5 hour trip to...

P.S I eliminated bulkhead connector, had to build three separate wire harness for fwd engine harness, fwd light harness and I moved all the ignition components under dash, but that’s a whole new thread…..lol
Finished up 470 stroker and 5-speed TKX install in my 69 road runner. Got about 150 miles on it in the past two weekends, had several small issues to deal with (pinion angle adjustment, blown rear wheel brake cylinder, some minor wire discrepancies, etc). Transmission is everything Silver Sport...
Oh I blew it on that! I should have looked at k member dolly’s 1st. We ended up having to use cherry picker to lift drivetrain off the cart to install k member bolts after we dropped the body over cart as far as possible. It was a **** show but somehow it all worked out, didn’t kill anybody...
I’m working on pulling my drivetrain out now, I’ll let you know how install goes, I’m going to completely build all engine accessories and entire suspension and install all at once. I envy you guys that have garages and a lift! I’m doing this in my driveway with a one car garage.
