572 World block makes just shy of 900HP. It will run in the 9’s but I do not have a full cage so I dial it back to run in the 10.02 range.
I had one in collage (not this one), but the one I had back then I envisioned it to be like this one is now.
I am very happy for you. Hopefully I’ll have the issues Barney sorted out for the next race. But I must say, running the Mrs. Challenger in sportsman class was fun. Was hoping I’d face my boy in the final in that class but I decided to take a nap in the final four which cost me. Oh well.

Now this is a cool project. A buddy of mine had one of these in high school. I always loved that car. Keep the updates coming. Should be killer when it is done.
Funny to see this thread pop up after all these years. The car had went through many changes since then. That is back when I set the car up for pro touring. Since 2015 the car has resided at the track. No heating issues in a 1/4 mile.
