I run my cables around the right side. The normal 5’ cable works with the front cable exit shifter. Used to burn cables when fmucking around on the left side, switched to the right side years ago, never a problem since. You can fish up in between the dipstick tube and trans also.
I spotted your weights up front in a recent picture. Great idea! My front shock rebound is only at 50% tight so there’s lots to work with there still. Along with that the normal crappy air will be back which will tone things down. My 60’s are all in the 1.33 to 1.37 range.
Well a brutal weather weekend of racing is in the books up in Sask Canada. The 2-day points race weekend of 1/4 mile racing turned into 1 day of 1/8 mile. Saturday cancelled altogether and Sunday with a ridiculous headwind cut things down to 1/8 mile racing. Sure glad I threw the heat dish...
Good news Doug that you got it back into shape both times.
Well. I think that first off I’ll read the chassis adjustment about 6 more times. Also thinking that being about a hundred HP and close to a second shy ain’t so bad after all. Still planning to get on a real set of scales but I’m...
You’re doing better than I ever could. I have golfed twice and it was years ago. My best was 82/9 :)
Distance I would be embarrassed to know. If it’s anything like the rock that I threw at some geese that were shitting on my grass…. The rock made it about half the distance I was expecting...
That’s a long career of racing Doug and countless winner circles. My car without driver and no fuel weighs 3150 + or - a couple lbs either way. Once I get it on the scales I’ll know for sure.
My first trip down the 1/4 mile was 2017. In my freshly built street/stripe 64 Belvedere. At ago...
9.83 @ 136 on test. I’m confident of dipping into the 9.70’s at current weight as the 9.83 was with 5 degrees of timing still pulled out of it. I run it detuned, added lead and lowered RPM shift points to stay above 10.
I’m going to borrow my buds scales soon and get the current weight.
First time parking under the board, have gone deep quite a few times but this was the first. Yes better competition absolutely.
9.83 @ 136 MPH is my new best to date. Same combo from day one when 10.5’s was just a dream.
This has been a long time coming. I got it done today at the season opener at my home track in Pro class. Car worked flawlessly all day as well as setting new MPH & ET personal bests in testing. .
