Thanks for the reply, the info and the interest.. I am getting older but damn these wheels are heavy for what they are.. I am really not sure of a value for them, I assume these will clear disk brakes as they are not very deep on the back side?
Hi, I appreciate the help to identify these four steel wheels I found around the shop today. Three are 5in wide and one is 5.5in wide.
They appear to be in nice shape but I have no idea if they are worth keeping or not.. selling or scraping..
Thanks for the help.
Thanks, that is another question. Three of those are 15x5s and one is a 5.5.. original steel wheels.. I guess they are just good for spare tires really? But what can I ask for them?
The backspace should be the same as a stock wheel, looks like the band was added to space out to th outside, by the 3 extra inches. they worked fine on the 70 charger.
Think someone would like them or find value in them? Think I could get $100.00 each?
I don't know what I was thinking back...
Cleaning out the garage, years ago I had the local dirt track champion widen these 14in rally wheels for me and I ran them on the back of my 1970 charger. I am sure the purist say I wrecked a good wheel but back then that was the option if you didn't want to go aluminum. They hold air and look...
Thanks, yeah that is for the coopers 275/60r-15s for $315 I think I see them on Amazon and I bought four 225/70r-15s for $235 (that I was going to use on the magnum 500s) and $100 for lug nuts but some I already have.. then I can get them mounted and balanced for $100.. I may be into them a...
Since the repro 500s that came with car turned out to be bent. And I had these, tires , lug nuts mounting, balance etc.. I am probably still going to be close to $600.00 f I do all four tires.. boy it all adds up.. would you just run these?
Thanks, so here is t centerlines I have, but on the left side I have about exactly a half inch clearance to the lip of the quarter panel, would you be comfortable with that? The right side has something like two and a half inches.. go figure..
If someone bought a GTX in 69 what would it have left the factory with? I thought most cars left with painted wheels and dog dishes? Yes 14in.. I imagine?
Thanks for the thread. So the readlines on my GTX were getting about 20 years old so I put some cheap radials on it just for safety. When balancing I found out three of the wheels are bent. Seems lots of wheels are bent anymore? I dont know whether to spring for the aluminum or just buy steel...
Thanks for the help,. How about some thoughts on this one. I acquired this engine a few years ago with some stuff I needed in a package deal. This appears to be 1976 model but I don't get any stamps from the left front of the block.
Do I have the 73 with automatic transmission I pulled years...
Thanks!
I pulled this years ago from a friends car that was wrecked and I had known that the engine and trans was good. So now years later I have collected more 360s than I will ever need. Your info helps a lot on what to keep and what to get rid of or junk if I have to.. I have this other 360...
The plug is new, I may have a tap for that but female pipe tap is something to be careful with probably.. maybe I can look for a tap and chase it a little?
