All the 66-67 EE1 cars I have had, there was metallic in the mix. @dan juhasz recently repainted a car he purchased from me, and may have the perfect formula.

After looking closely at my GTX'S and Satellites, they are painted and the GTX'S are a darker argent silver than the Satellites. This follows with other trim items between the 2 models.

Original 67 GTX. Best I remember they are chrome in the center, but I'm unable to look right now to tell you for sure.

They will work without issue. If you order the rest of your exhaust system, be sure and specify the year of your manifolds. Some angles are different.

Second giveaway is no turquoise paint on it at all. Not original.

I use nothing but Valvoline VR 1 in all my old engines. Previously I used Castrol GTX, but when they took the zinc out I switched. The last 3 flat tapplet engines I have built were broken in with the Valvoline VR 1 and no dedicated break in oil.
