Could someone explain how air shocks work to a newbie? And possibly how to adjust them?

Those were the days. If you were a rich kid you could afford Gabriel hi Jackers, Uni-lug Cragars, set of Jensen 6"x 9's", and maybe some fur on the package tray. I sure miss all the good times and the simplicity of that era. Tom

Let the air out of both and diagnose the lean. Installing air shocks with individual fill lines is really stupid.

A great car is the star of a new TV show coming in May 2025

Well I finished it tonight, without spoilers I’ll say some parts had a satisfying end and as KD said they set up for more. I can take it or leave it so if this really is the end I’m ok with that. I think they screwed up and had an 80s Challenger in a traffic scene which is too new for the era.

Crappy cars that have become classics.

Whilst still a railroader, my boss bought a few of these to use for scooting around the yard for light repairs and carrying parts. They were never licensed for road use, just stayed on the property. Shifting left handed didn't take long to get used to.
