Hello Fellow B Body Owners! New To The Forum, Restoring A '68 Charger 440 In Massachusetts

Hello, My name is Andrew and I've been following this site for many years and have never started my own account. I own a 1968 Charger and have been in the process of rebuilding it for many years. Making a lot of progress this year and figured it was finally time to start interacting in the...

Crappy cars that have become classics.

OK... lemme go ahead and start something here... just because a car is rattly doesnt mean its krap - just means it has poor NVH. If that was a valid consideration in determining 'crappiness', then all our old mopars are crap. Old Corvettes fall mostly into that category also - especially...

    Poly 318 Spark Plug Coloring

Looks to me like the electrode has burned off a bit? If it were mine, I'd step up the jets a point and then check again after installing new plugs.

    New Yukon 3rd Member Whining

Hi, I helped a friend install a new Yukon 3rd member with 3.55 gears and a sure grip (using Royal Purple gear oil and a bottle of ford modifier) in 69 Super Bee, and it whines while accelerating. Has anyone else who has installed a new Yukon 3rd member getting a whine while accelerating that...

Rear Flat Tire Change Roadside Tips

Use a scissor jack that can be found from many, many cars in the wrecking yard. Put it under the shock plate if your tires are skinny enough, and under the front spring hanger if not. They are cheap, light, and much safer than the original bumper jack.

Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

Ignorant Americans use the term cement to describe concrete. It pisses me off every time that I hear them say it. I dropped the bucket on the cement. Oh really? Is it stuck there now? Cement is a glue, a bonding agent don't you know ? In my circle of wood framers, we called dimensionally large...

    Door latch gear fix?

Could it be something with the door handle? Messing with the inside handle Closing the handle against the door each time. Seems to be working better

    Tire size

Theoretically, 255s will be just under an inch wider in section. Turn your fronts lock to lock see if you have clearance for a half inch more tire in both directions. And the 4 1/4" on your wheels is backspace. Offset is a WHOLE different thing. P.S. love the daisies!

Anyone have photos of their Bouchillon Performance Engineering AC Bracket Installation?

Did not have to modify either of these pumps to fit. Iron heads on both. We will see how my 70 goes with the 440 Source ones.

Anyone have photos of their Bouchillon Performance Engineering AC Bracket Installation?

I had to shave a corner off my Sanden shorty A/C pump to get the bracket to fit. Quite a lot actually.

Crappy cars that have become classics.

All of them. They were all built cheap and they were built fast to get them out the door, just like today but with style. However, I love all of them today because of their timeless classic looks and the old family and friends stories that came with them.
