    Mopar better than Chevy

Many folks like the 350 Chev for many reasons. But changing the fuel pump is not one of them. Especially on the side of the rode when it is much too cold in February. Most hod rods around here have Chev engines. They are cheaper to get more giddy up. I put a 350 in my 57 Chev 3 ton.

    If replacing alternator, which amperage?

The BEST THING you should do is totally ignore the B.S. presented in # 15 and # 20 as this has nothing to do with the real world. All this guy presents is total speculation that the ammeter MUST show charge all the time. MOPAR designed the system to reflect the fluctuating loads under all...

    Mopar better than Chevy

Something has been bugging me, so I'm going to put it out there. When I look at 440 RB, at least from 66-71, I see it as superior to the chevy BB - like a 454 - from the same timeframe. Ok, granted the stock Mopar heads, compared to a 454 Chevy BB, were slightly smaller (less flow), but a lot...

WTF is it with Subaru Drivers?

My ex drives a green Subaru. The boxy model, last of the 4 wheel drive models that drove all four. 1.9 engine that was too small. Had a few warranty issues. The front UV joints travelled more than most others, and lasted a bit longer. They are the preferred bird watcher vehicle, in the winter...

    Brake issues

New booster is the way. I went through this on my car. Also running Wilwood front disc, stock rear drum. I tried 15/16" MC and 1-1/8" MC. The 15/16" had the pedal travel too low to the floor. Once I got the correct booster (8" dual diaphragm as posted above), with the 1-1/8" MC, pedal travel...

    Transmission problem?

In 1967, the console became on option, as well as the Buddy seat. So, it is not uncommon to see 1967 Chargers with automatic with column shift. This applies to 1967 Coronet 500 and R/T as well.

Is All-Metal body filler ok to use on hood edges?

whatever it takes Don......... I've cut/split/welded in severe cases......... I had issues twice where someone didnt rough up the metal under all metal and it let go; that's not the all metal's fault......... it likes it rough you could build up the edge with weld to fill the big voids, then...
