I'm needing the lower left (Driver's Side) interior windshield trim. This is for a Station Wagon but I believe any four door car will work. I also think 64 &65 Furys, Cornetts and Belvederes are the same. Thanks

Help a Gal with Power Steering Box

Thanks for the response. So I went ahead and installed the remanufactured box from Autozone. But after looking at it I'm fairly confident it's a Lares brand box. It appears to be doing alright. I've not driven it much. The only problem I had was I heated the original crush washer to restore its...

Any experience with Cardone rebuilt power steering box?

Thanks for the response. I ended up bolting mine up yesterday and it appeared to bolt up fine and the steering column looks to bolt up O.K. The steering coupler rebuild kit I bought for the column wasn't the right one so now I'm waiting on another one before I can finish everything up.

Any experience with Cardone rebuilt power steering box?

Did you install one of these? If so how did it look in comparison to your original? I've bought one from Autozone but it doesn't look like my original. It looks more like a Lares brand. I've not tried bolting it up yet. Thanks

Not to highjack this thread but having a similar situation. The power steering pump went out on my 64 Fury. Replaced with a Borgeson. Worked great and bolted up with their Big Block bracket. The steering box, which was leaking some, began to pour. Bought a rebuilt from Autozone and while I've...

    Broken Ujoint

So, today I did some measuring and I have the 7260 joints. I bought another one, installed the C-clips and everything looks good. I'm convinced my problem was because I'm a DA and didn't install C-clips on the other joint. Again, thanks to everyone for chiming in

    Broken Ujoint

Thanks!! That makes me feel a lot better that I’ve not screwed up my new trans rebuild.

    Broken Ujoint

I was only going maybe 15mph down a slight incline when the ujoint failed. It didn't sound like the engine/ trans revved that high and of course I shut it down immediately. I feel like a DA for not knowing about the C-clips. But again the new one didn't come with any. Did later Mopars eliminate...
