Gas vent line grommet... that goes into the trunk pan.

WTB Gas vent tube grommet 1968-71

These are relatively cheap, but aftermarket companies want a day's wages to ship them. Does any have a couple of these gas vent tube grommets floating around? 68-71 B bodies, and I believe the E bodies use them too. Thanks.

    Where did you grow up?

Punxsutawney, PA... yeah, home of the groundhog. Great little town, at the time (1973-1993). I can't imagine a better place to grow up. I just went back last weekend, after about twelve years away. Man, things have changed! We went from about eight elementary schools down to one, and the Jr...

    Seat cover installer NE Ohio

Yeah, when I first called him it was the same way. If he's engrossed in his work, he won't answer... I like that actually. He's good at returning phone calls.

    WTB 1973 / 1974 Charger fenders

I have a driver's side. A little bondo in one spot, but no rust-through. But, I'm in Ohio; YY1 is a lot closer.

Is a 3.19" center bore too big on a steel rim?

These rims do take a 60-degree lug, so hopefully they center just fine... for rear wheels that'll be getting about 500 hp.

Is a 3.19" center bore too big on a steel rim?

I'm looking at a set of steelies on Summit's site. Their computer-generated compatibility tool says they are not compatible with a '73 Charger. They're 15x8 with a 4.5" BS, so I'm assuming the center bore is the deciding factor. Will the bigger bore matter? If so, would hub rings make...

    Seat cover installer NE Ohio

Yes sir... John Lehman in Wadsworth. Right beside the drive-in theater on Greenwich Rd. 330-336-5765. He's the local go-to, and does outstanding work! He did a set of 70 Charger seats for me a few years back.... turned out perfect!

    Pulled carpet..now what?

Wow, "minor" is right. You could eat off that floor!

    Pulled carpet..now what?

I just did the floor on my Charger yesterday. I like the Eastwood Rust Encapsulator Plus: Wire brush all the rusty areas, vacuum, degrease the floor, hit it with the Eastwood Pre-Paint aerosol, then brush it on (they also offer a spray version). I did it as a spot treatment, as there were a...

Compatible front seats for 73 Charger ??

...and they won't be shipped. I only buy locally.

Compatible front seats for 73 Charger ??

Replacement seats WILL be cheaper, when compared to buying new skins, foam, burlap, hog ring pliers, etc. They don't have to be perfect - just not destroyed.

Compatible front seats for 73 Charger ??

This is a low-budget 73 Charger build (not resto)... so instead of re-skinning my crusty front buckets, I'm looking into other seats that'll be a cheap upgrade (read: springs don't poke me in the ***). What other seats will match up to my seat rails? ...Cordoba, Satellite, post-74 Charger?

    WTB WTB 71-74 console

If you can't find a black one, I have a gold one - you can always get some black SEM paint for it. That's what I used to turn my blue console black. But I hope you find a black one.

WTB 15" Steelies with 4.5 BS

Yeah, this is going to be a beater ride, so I hate to buy new ones. That just takes away from engine-rebuild money.
