My amp meter has been acting erratic for the last month. Reading high, then reading nothing, then reading Discharge then reading normal. Is there a way to bypass the dash amp gauge without having to tear the dash apart? Can it be bypassed on the engine side of the bulkhead connector?

My Gtx was manufactured in April of 69 so the voltage regulator would have an early 69 date code, but what's the correct ink color?

As I understand Cater 2 digit date codes, you have a carb body from Oct of 1968, the others appear to be April 1971, and a couple from March 66 or 76? Am I misreading these?

I need a rebuildable Carter 4640SA carburetor. My manufacture date is April of 69, so a date code withing 3 to 4 months of that should work.

Seriously, I did mention that already. Problem not solved, but thanks.

If I shift to neutral and let the trans pump run, the car moves fine, but if I leave it in park while I warm up the engine, the car wont move until I rev it up a bit. After the transmission warms up, it's fine the rest of the day.
