Shee Marr SM102 signal switch review and question

The tag on my switch I took out was #2496163 The parts book above was from My Mopar and I would imagine the #2822170 was a superseded number. Those will give me something to search for any way.

Shee Marr SM102 signal switch review and question

I don't know why I didn't think of doing this before I installed mine. Plug it in and test the operation before installing it in the column. At least that way I can see if it's defective before installing it. If I plug it in and my brake lights are still wonky, back it goes.

Cars that are still doing well in a soft market. Mopar leads the way.

Speaking of Swingers, Yes please. Mine came up for sale and I had to pull the trigger. I didn't buy it for an investment but it is worth close to double what I paid 10 years ago. These and the Duster's and Demons have gone crazy lately.

Yikes! That price would be enough to scare you off. I wonder what the differences are in the 67 and newer switches?

Both of those look identical to the one I bought. If the seller posts OEM part numbers that throws a red flag for me unless the part has the part number on it like the original did.

Shee Marr SM102 signal switch review and question

I might end up with a Shee-Mar (sounds like a Chinese name) I was surprised there was a tech department you could talk to. I looked closely at the castle nut fit. The flats on the nuts on mine were in the right place so the base could sit flat. I did put the plate on and then the screws. I could...

Shee Marr SM102 signal switch review and question

Well, I got my switch installed. (it was a OER brand) I still have brake light issues. Is it the switch, my installation, or a wiring or ground issue somewhere else? One side of the brake lights won't work at times. It's intermittent and seems to be related to using the turn signals. I also...

Real handy for a place to park, put up the Easy Up, set up the chairs, coolers, and the grill. We would fix ourselves lunch every day...
