    Steering not self correcting

@and a members name here will send him a notification. BigD is a smart guy and a valuable resource for late 60's Mopars. He specializes in A12 cars (69 1/2 Bees and Road Runners) If there is an odd gearbox that was used, he will know about it.

    m6903 Carter fuel pump

I would hope their quality would be better than an off the shelf pump but now days you never know. A friend was having bleeding over issues and replaced his with an off the shelf Car Quest pump (new not rebuilt) and it put out a tick over 10#. On goes the pressure regulator. It's best to check...

I think it's another manufacturer as well. It looks nothing like the one I posted which is the box that' in my 64. I have np idea who manufactured RWW's gearbox or how and if it can be fine tuned.

I think it could affect the self centering issue as well.

Early B Body turn signal switch discussion. Shee Mar SM102

I made this thread a sticky so it will be easier to find. There are thousands of early cars that may need a switch. Thanks @Bob Jordan for starting the thread.

    Steering not self correcting

It needs adjustment and that much can cause a pull.

This gear is laying on it's side but you can see the 2 bolt cover that can be adjusted.

    Steering not self correcting

Mine needs adjusted just a touch more. It still has a slight pull. The plate on the top of the gearbox has what I would call Oval bolt holes. They really aren't slotted. A friend on FABO used to work ar a Dodge dealer doing new car set ups and he said he carried a ratchet with a socket and...

The tag on my switch I took out was #2496163 The parts book above was from My Mopar and I would imagine the #2822170 was a superseded number. Those will give me something to search for any way.

I don't know why I didn't think of doing this before I installed mine. Plug it in and test the operation before installing it in the column. At least that way I can see if it's defective before installing it. If I plug it in and my brake lights are still wonky, back it goes.

Cars that are still doing well in a soft market. Mopar leads the way.

Speaking of Swingers, Yes please. Mine came up for sale and I had to pull the trigger. I didn't buy it for an investment but it is worth close to double what I paid 10 years ago. These and the Duster's and Demons have gone crazy lately.

Yikes! That price would be enough to scare you off. I wonder what the differences are in the 67 and newer switches?
