It will depend on how thick the Promax plate is. Looking at the countersunk screws, it is probably quite thick, which would allow for machined passages on the back of it.
I don't see a vac adv unit....

Get a small, round, wire brush for an electric drill. Use THAT to clean the freeze plug opening back to clean metal. Use silicon on the NEW plug to seal it
The benefit of the aftermarket book: has tips in it to make the job easier, plus 'tricks' that have been learned over time that can add durability/performance to the trans. These are NOT in the FSM.
My understanding: Yukon made two types of gear sets for popular diffs.
[1] Was soft material for drag racing that flex slightly & absorb the 'hit'. It did not wear well not as well finished [ two gears lapped together ]

You could nip up the oil pan bolts...& get lucky. But my guess is the rear seal or seal holder. When the engine is running, blowby increases pressure in the crankcase & helps find ' bad' seals.
The relay is a good idea. If the ign coil is an E core, it will draw more current.
To get the best use of the relay, connect one contact to the battery [+] terminal or alt post with a 10 amp inline fuse. Connect the other relay contact to the module/coil [+]. This will ensure that your ign...
