    66 Coronet with a C-Body Radiator

Sounds very familiar to me. I put a 26" unit in my car to replace the abortion the PO put it. The radiator I bought was an oe style, brass/copper, replacement unit. Showed to fit both b and c bodies. Picked up a reproduction shroud for a 26" b body. Didn't fit. Turns out I need the c body unit...

    Updating the Super Street Mopar

While I'm waiting for more parts to show up, I used today's time to shorten up the excessively long plug wires. Since these units are JDM Speed ricer ones, the wires are 10mm in diameter. That made it a challenge to get the new terminals on and crimped. I ended up putting a terminal in the vise...

Scarebird (uscartool.com) B Body Part Numbers

Ok, thanks for that. Something I forgot about. The car currently does not have a sway bar but when I do the suspension/brake/steering upgrades soon, it will get a bar, but part of those changes is switching to a 70 k-frame. Bar issue shouldn't be a problem, but I'll still investigate the lines.

Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

Me too. No dolly though, but have welders. If the listing went by phone number and city/town/area, it would be good. I'm not on my computer surfing constantly, but my phone is always close for a call.

Scarebird (uscartool.com) B Body Part Numbers

I like that it's all oe based stuff thats easy to service or replace when needed. But, how does it compare to doing the Disco Tech conversion or buying said package from Dr Diff which is all oe Mopar based stuff. Same price, less, more?

Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

Here is a thought I would like to throw out. As a former subscriber to the TDR[ turbo diesel registry], which is a quarterly publication that ONLY deals with Cummins powered Dodge trucks. One of their benefits was a separate listing/publication called The TDR Travelers guide[ may have that...

    Aftermarket alternator.

It may be beneficial for you to install a PWM[ pulse width modulation] type of fan controller. Your current fans have a 30 amp rating. But...when they light off the load is probably closer to 50 which causes problems since its instant on. The PWM unit will make the fan/fans ramp up slowly so the...

Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

You can easily find a laundromat in the city/town you're staying in. And as Randy pointed out, you're most likely not driving 6+ hours at a whack. There are many things to see on the way to the destination, especially if you route it with those intentions. Those detours take time, so you may get...

Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

My wife is great on trips. But that one doing the PT would have been a huge no go due to high ambient temps with no a/c. So...in the future, a/c will get put in. After it gets rewired etc. Not about to add new stuff to old.

69 Super Bee 383, Holley brawler kicked on linkage? Does this look correct?

After I put the new stuff on, the PO had put some sort of eBay cable stuff on the trans and carb that didn't work worth a damn, I started with setting it by the procedure in the FSM. From there drive, stop, adjust, drive, stop adjust until I liked it.

Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

I would imagine that if a vehicle is good to go after a 3 hour or so drive with no stops other than gas, you're good to go for longer. The first time I drove my wagon was when I paid for it and drove it home from the Thousand Oaks area. No problems.
